God Has A Plan

I am sitting here this morning reading stories from people in First Assembly's past. The stories I won't try to share here today, accept to say listen for them in church and watch for them here on the blog in the future. (I have to figure out a way to share them)
There are tears on my shirt as I read the stories and see the common thread of God's grace and providence. As I find a beginning point in a family where someone invested themselves into others, the thread of the grace of God follows that investment and families are blessed to the second and third generation.
God keeps good records and He never forgets those bless Him and build His kingdom.
I don't even know if what I am saying makes a lot of sense to you reading, but know that i am overwhelmed as I look at God's amazing grace.

You're absolutely right! If it weren't for God's grace in both of my parents lives, I would definitely not be here. And if it weren't for His continuing grace along the way, I would not be who I am today.....

Amen, amen, amen. It is because of His grace and mercy I am able to forgive myself and those who have hurt me and/or those I love. No matter how many ways we slice it and dice it, it is the basic foundation to the great commandment of love. It is the beginning and the end to development of the fruit of the Spirit. It keeps my eyes on Him. It keeps me spiritually and emotionally grounded. Each one gets a portion because each one needs a portion. It is by grace we are transformed and become all we are called to become benefiting His kingdom and for His glory. A church of grace and of mercy facilitates the transformation of great Christian leaders, pastors, missionaries, ministers. I perceive this is the one reason there is generation upon generation upon generation leading the way. This is what I have found at my church, First Assembly of God, Clearwater. Amazing Grace . . . No wonder this incredible hymn is stamped on the hearts and minds of His children. It is the most popular hymn worldwide.
