Intentional

Yesterday I spent time with some old friends and some fairly new ones. I love spending time with friends laughing about great memories and making new memories. There are not many things in this world that are better than having time with friends.

However, in the last few years I have been intentional about taking those relationships and giving effort toward being productive, especially toward the Kingdom. Sunday I said in a teaching that I believe that God sees to it that we are in the right place at the right time through our lives even when it does not seem to be so.

What if I opened my eyes and realized that God is behind so many of the relationships that have come my way? What if I was intentional about allowing those relationships to add to God's kingdom in a genuine and organic manner?

I do not believe it would take away from the good times and all the laughter, I believe it would create even greater memories than the incredible ones God has allowed me to experience with my friends to date.
