Rebuilding Websites

I was reading an article from a person who helps people develop their websites into lead generators for business. He said that many companies are restructuring their websites so that they do a better job of generating potential customers. The next thing in the article went right over my head until just a few minutes ago. Here is what he said:

“What do you think the most important ingredient to a successful internet marketing strategy is? It's going to sound a bit silly and basic, what is this absolutely critical factor? Drumroll please: "YOUR TIME!”

Wow! What do you think is the most important thing in developing anything? Probably your time.

A relationship with your kids, your spouse, your friend

A relationship with God

Doing something that makes an impact on people

Doesn’t it all boil down to investing your time?

We tend to think it is creativity, talent, skills, leadership. All of those are important, but the question is “What do you think the most important ingredient”.

I need to think about that and prioritize my life around what is most important to me and how much of my time I am investing there.

The article went on to suggest that in order to develop a lead generating website, a considerable amount of time must be spent answering questions about the business. So as to communicate to the user the focus of the company.

Wow again. What is communicated to the people around me about the focus of my life when people in my sphere of influence observe where I spend my time?

Good questions, I need to provide good answers. Maybe it is time to take a look at what kind of leads my life is producing.
