The Mommas and Poppas said back in the 60's "Monday, Monday, can't trust that day". What's up with Monday? Why does Monday want to be such a problem? Who knows?
I just read Hebrews 11 "the faith chapter" and I was reminded of all the people who lived in faith and quite honestly it's not all that encouraging. Sawn in half, did not receive while they were here, goat skins (sounds itchy), and the list goes on. The ones who had the wonderful things happen, had them happen because of unbelievable obstacles in their way. And yet when I finish reading it I am encouraged. I am encouraged because they all had the hand of God upon their lives as they went through their difficulties.
See here' s the deal. The people in this world that can't trust Monday are the people who have faith in God and the people who do not. Because trouble and heartache comes to everybody and you never know when or who is next. "Monday happens!" Can I get a witness?
The difference for me is "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth." Job 19:25
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
Monday I do not trust you, but I trust the one who made you.
